| Description: | Just one word. “Unconditional”.
However, Mark Hans goes immediately beyond “the story” and focuses on true self as a starting point (essence). This he encourages through regular Meditation, simple, straight forward and most enjoyable. From there he sets the focus on self enquiry, how stories are created and how they are constantly repeated by the process of time-space, the dimension of the mind through reference to past, carving out a future and veiling any view on what reality really is. He points to conditioning, copying patterns taught from childhood, demonstrating where shadow personalities dominate and how “what you think is what you are”. The bottom line is Live Life Unconditionally. Sounds easy, but is quite a challenge.
He specialises in small groups with a maximum of 25 participants. Other than in an open Satsang, this is the extent of his group work. He gives personal attention to each person, by name, by character and by spiritual experience. He is open, lively, imaginative and has a great sense of humour (laughing at himself too). He uses three methods (concepts) to work with, mediation, talks, (Q&A) and finally Diksha. (Energy transmission work). He has extensive knowledge of Tantric practices and loves to drink a pint or two! “Keep it simple” is his direction, enjoy life is his heart energy. Over the past two years he has bought all of his close students to realisation with quite some ease through dedication and simple hard work. Anything is achievable if you really set your heart to work!
Mark Hans is English, born in Colchester and has his base in Amsterdam from where he teaches all over Europe, in the States and in India. He is a Bodhisattva. (dedicating his life to the liberation of others).
He travelled the world for 5 years full time with his teacher to study the 6 major world religions. His most recent pilgrimage was Japan for three months where he studied the art of Zen. He has no attachment to anything living unconditionally, he encourages participants to use those methods that they find easiest to work with.
